Ayurvedic Therapies

Ayurveda, the name given to the ancient Indian Science of Life, is said to have originated over 4000 years ago and is believed to be the oldest health system known to man today. Rather than treating symptoms it treats the whole body holistically and works on the principles of prevention rather than cure.

Massage is an important part of Ayurvedic therapy, but rather than concentrating on Western techniques that manipulate the body contour, it works on Marma points, opening up 'energy channels' which cause imbalance or blockages
